European Election Special...

The election for the European Parliament is over and it seems that right wing parties all over Europe has done well. But some parties are more extreme than others - these images are from countries in Eastern Europe and the bottom one show Levente Csikhelyi, a commander in the Hungarian Guard. 

Note his hat, an almost exact replica of what the Waffen SS wore during WWII and the top pic needs no commentary. Those armbands also reminds me of something...

This all at the same time as Europe celebrate the 65th anniversary of D-Day, a monumental event in the struggle to topple Nazism the first time around. It seems we're going in for round number two now...
