Race is always a hot topic, in the political sphere as well as in everyday life. Just the other week, David Letterman got a world exclusive from Barack Obama when he admitted to have been black even before the election!
Now, Channel 4 is launching a series of documentaries on race and one of them, Race: Science's Last Taboo, ask whether there are biological advantages to being mixed race. The whole shebang is marketed by a media campaign showing a white Usain Bolt and a mixed-raced Margaret Thatcher. Oh, the irony... and what's with the right hand, Maggie?
